Butterfly Flowers. Chinese ink and watercolour on paper, 2018

Flower Part Series

It is a series of painting parts or portion of a flower rather than he whole flower. I choose and painted the parts from the flower which I think would turn out  beautiful and interesting.

Untitled

It is an artwork created with Jackson Pollock's painting technique. I used acrylic paint for this painting. I painted the  background of the canvas with a layer of acrylic paint , I dripped and splashed thick acrylic paint with my brushes on the canvas. In addition, I used a hair dryer to dry the paint on the canvas. While drying it, the paint merged with one another, resulting in this creation.

Butterfly Flowers

The flowers i drew were created by drawing a combination of butterfly's wings. The reason i chose to draw butterfly's wings instead of flower petals was because there was a similarity between the shape of butterfly's wings and flower petals, and this made the outcome more interesting. I kept the background plain and simple because i would like to bring viewers' attention towards the flowers instead of the background. Lastly, i painted each flower in different colours because it would turn out more attractive as compared to a single colour for the whole artwork.
